Position Title: Coordinator, Pharmaceutical Grants
Location: White Plains, NY
Immediate Supervisor’s Title: Director, Pharmaceutical Partners and Grants
Department: Donor Development
Purpose: The Coordinator of Pharmaceutical Grants will be under the direction and will assist the Director of Pharmaceutical Partners and Grants with the day-to-day coordination of the pharmaceutical grant process which includes the submission, tracking, acknowledgement and reconciliation of grants. The Coordinator will be responsible for keeping the Pharmaceutical Funding spreadsheet updated, data entry of grant award receipts and the timely acknowledgement of all pharmaceutical grant awards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regular update of Pharmaceutical Funding Forecast (tracking all grant activity from identified grant opportunities, submissions, approvals/denials, Letter of Agreement receipt and awards)
- Submission of grants via online grant portals
- Data Entry on LLS donation portal
- Timely acknowledgement of grant awards
- Submission of grant reconciliations via online grant portals
- Work on other projects as identified by the Director of Pharmaceutical Grants or SVP, Pharmaceutical partners.
- Manage timelines for efficient implementation of a high volume of grant submissions
- Coordination of Pharmaceutical Partners meetings at National Office
Position Requirements:
- Ability to carry out timeline-driven objectives
- Detail and process-oriented
- Capacity to manage multiple and simultaneous projects
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to identify and effectively navigate through a wide variety of corporate and government websites and grant portals
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs, content management systems, and other internal and external web-based systems
- Ability to collect, analyze and report on data
- Strong proof reading and editing skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Professional maturity and judgment
- Ability to work cohesively and maintain good relationships with other departments
- Online grant request systems or similar electronic database management preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
