Dylan and Conner

Hodgkin lymphoma (HL)

When Dylan was a senior in high school, at the age of 17, he was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). He was getting ready for his last semester of high school and ready to pursue his dreams of playing college volleyball when life confronted him with a massive health battle. He spent the next six months putting up a constant fight and underwent 12 chemotherapy treatments. Although every day was a battle, Dylan ultimately came out on top and was declared cancer-free in the summer of 2021. He is now set to graduate from Miami University next fall and plans to become an educator. He has currently been in remission for three years!

Just over a year ago and two years after Dylan was in remission, his older brother, Conner, was also diagnosed with HL after just graduating from Ohio State University. He went through eight chemotherapy treatments and 20 radiation treatments while coaching volleyball and working full-time. Conner has just recently entered remission in the last few months!

Now, both Conner and Dylan enjoy coaching volleyball together and enjoy each day that life brings each of them. They are both very thankful for their team of doctors and nurses who were able to successfully bring them into remission.
