A. LLS DIY is a new way to support LLS through activity-based fundraising that is 100% driven by your personal creativity and passion. You have the ability to start your own fundraising event to support LLS or simply link fundraising to a local event or activity of your choice.

Q. HOW DOES MY FUNDRAISER BENEFIT LLS?

A. The funds raised from your campaign have a direct impact on driving new cancer treatments, access to patient services and the core promises of the LLS mission.

Q. WHICH LLS REGION DOES MY FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN BENEFIT?

A. The zip code of fundraiser will drive the allocation of your fundraising campaign to the nearest LLS regional office.

Q. HOW DO I GET STARTED?

A. Visit lls.org/diy to start your movement – and learn more about other volunteers across the country who are making a difference through a variety of activities.

Q. WHERE IS MY FUNDRAISING PAGE LOCATED?

A. LLS has partnered with Classy.org to provide easy access to personalized fundraising pages that are linked directly to LLS.

Q. HOW CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY FUNDRAISING PAGE?

A. As soon as you create your account, you can personalize your fundraising page with photos/color templates/text and much more.

Q. CAN I SHARE MY FUNDRAISING PAGE ON MY SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS

A. Yes, you can share your fundraising campaign on your social media accounts while getting the word out about your fundraiser as soon as you activate your page.

Q. I WANT TO START A FUNDRAISER TO HONOR A LOVED ONE WHO RECENTLY PASSED AWAY – HOW CAN I START A FUNDRAISING PAGE WITH LLS DIY?

A. DIY provides the easiest path to set up a fundraising campaign to honor a loved one with a separate fundraising template for Memorial fundraising. Our new template provides options to start fundraising campaigns to honor loved ones – and it only takes a few clicks to get started.

Q. DOES ALL OF THE MONEY RAISED ON CLASSY.ORG GO TO LLS

A. Yes, every fundraising campaign created on Classy.org is linked to LLS and we process all donations directly from your fundraising campaigns.

Q. CAN I APPLY FUNDS RAISED ON CLASSY.ORG TO MY CAMPAIGN-BASED FUNDRAISERS BENEFITTING LLS (TEAM IN TRAINING, LIGHT THE NIGHT, ETC.)?

A. All DIY fundraisers are separate campaigns and cannot be combined with other LLS fundraisers that are tied to an LLS campaign like Team In Training, Light The Night, Man Woman of The Year, etc.

All donations for LLS campaigns must be processed on LLS-hosted fundraising pages. Please contact your LLS staff contact for more information about accessing your page to ensure that all donations are processed correctly.

Q. DOES CLASSY.ORG HAVE PROCESSING FEES?

A. Yes, the platform applies a standard transaction fee to cover credit card and debit charges.
