The Able Channel Announces First Foundational Partner

(New York, NY - Sept. 28, 2021) — The Able Channel, the world’s first streaming digital health platform delivering inspiration, information, and innovation for families meeting the challenges of disability & lifelong health concerns, has announced The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as its first foundational partner. As the global leader in the fight against blood cancers, LLS provides guidance, education, and support to patients and their families every step of the way.

The Able Channel provides healthcare channel partners with a platform to provide timely information, patient and health professionals stories of inspiration as well as access to the latest innovations in medicine, therapy and treatment. LLS’s content is now available at The AbleChannel.com and they will have their own dedicated channel on the Able OTT platform when the channel launches later this year.

The video content provided by LLS will feature three areas of focus: inspirational stories from patients who have battled leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, medical expertise from the frontline clinicians battling blood cancer, as well as exciting recaps of LLS events that highlight the organization’s fundraising efforts.

“As the first foundational partner, we look forward to leveraging the Able Channel’s reach and technology to increase awareness of LLS and connect with patients and families,” said Lynn Godfrey, LLS SVP and Chief Experience Officer.  “The partnership provides an opportunity to remind the public about the urgent need to support research to fight blood cancers — a disease that is diagnosed every three minutes in the U.S. and has no current means of prevention. LLS is working tirelessly to find cures and provide more support for blood cancer patients and families than any organization in the world.”

“The Able Channel is proud to welcome LLS as our first foundational partner. Having LLS on the Able Channel platform assists in achieving our goal to make the world healthier one person at a time, one story at a time.  LLS does outstanding work in raising awareness of blood cancers, like leukemia and lymphoma, and those incredible stories will be amplified on the channel.” Brian McCourt, The Able Channel Founder & CEO.
