Stay Empowered: Your Rights & Voice in Cancer Care

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Dealing with cancer is hard enough on its own, especially with the added stress and confusion. Local experts will discuss two important topics to help make things easier. First, learn about your employee rights, reasonable work accommodations, and other available resources during your cancer journey. Then, discover ways to advocate for yourself, with tips on communicating with your healthcare team to ensure the best care. Join others in the adolescent and young adult (AYA) community, typically ages 15 to 39, for a chance to learn, connect, and enjoy some fun activities together! You are encouraged to bring caregiver or family members with you.
