Indications and Usage
Melphalan is FDA approved to treat people who have myeloma.
Side effects needing medical attention
Sudden rash and itching; difficulty breathing or shortness of breath; hives; black, tarry stools; fever, chills or sore throat; unusual bleeding or bruising; side or stomach pain; sores in mouth and on lips; cough; yellow discoloration of skin or eyes; missed menstrual periods; swelling of feet or lower legs; nausea and vomiting; weight loss.
