Join us on December 5th and find out!  This program will explore coping strategies that caregivers can use to navigate the difficult emotions that come with a blood cancer diagnosis. Laughter, humor and other tools will be explored as ways families can support a child going through blood cancer treatment as well as support their own mental health and overall wellbeing of the family. We encourage loved ones and caregivers for a child dealing with a blood cancer diagnosis to attend this program that is sure to be filled with helpful tips...and surprises!

HELPING FAMILIES COMMUNICATE WITH CARE TEAMS

When a family is affected by a pediatric cancer diagnosis it turns their world upside-down. It can be especially challenging for families of pediatric patients to communicate with their care team and advocate for their child. Join our panelist for a conversation about how to help communicate most effectively with your care team. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in the Q&A discussion following the presentation.

THRIVING BEYOND PEDIATRIC BLOOD CANCER

Thriving Beyond Pediatric Blood Cancer is an education program to help families and young survivors of pediatric blood cancer understand and manage the late-term side effects that can come after treatment. Experts will provide insights on how to manage these effects, including strategies for maintaining physical health, supporting cognitive development, and nurturing emotional well-being. Join us to learn about resources and strategies that can help young survivors live their best lives.
