Guardian Angel Finding ways to say thank you are not always easy. You can recognize someone who has helped you through one of your toughest times by making a donation in their name to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society whether they are a: Family Member Physician Nurse Floor or wing at the hospital Surgeon Caregiver Fellow patient Anyone who has put a smile on your face during your tough time In return your Guardian Angel will receive a: Lapel Pin Certificate Recognition by LLS on our website Right now, you have the opportunity to help cure blood cancer. Whether you are a patient, caregiver, family member or friend, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has many ways for you to get involved. The Guardian Angel program is one that helps direct much needed funds to research while recognizing those who have helped you, or a loved one, through their diagnosis and treatment. Your donation will be supporting projects across the entire research continuum, from basic laboratory science through clinical trials. LLS is committed to working with biotechnology companies to advance projects more quickly from laboratory to clinical trials. Your contribution will also support LLS's services: providing patients with the latest disease and treatment information, support programs, and for many struggling with the financial hardship of a cancer diagnosis, financial aid and co-pay assistance. Donations through Guardian Angel will help fund local research projects within our own chapter as well. This program was designed to help you thank those who were there when you needed them AND to be there to help those newly diagnosed, through your support of research and patient programs. By recognizing and honoring your Guardian Angel, your donation will aid in finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quaility of life of patients and their families. All donations will support services for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society throughout the Western Pennyslvania and West Virginia area.
