Mobile Short Code: Terms & Conditions

 

1.General

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) provides SMS communications targeted at Prospective and registered constituents can opt into SMS messages that allow us to confirm interest in LLS's programs and events, distribute relevant content, and communicate important dates and requirements. Communications through our short codes services are on an Opt In basis. CTA will be advertised on the web; the SC will not be marketed.

2.Opt-In/Opt-Out

User will opt-in to the shortcode program via keyword JOIN. Message and data rates may apply. Msg freq. varies per user. Text "HELP” to 80504 for help. Text "STOP" to cancel.

You can cancel this service at any time. Just text "STOP" to 80504. After you send the message "STOP" to us, we will send you a reply message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us.

3. Help

If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text "HELP" to 80504. After you send the message "HELP" to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.

4. Participating carriers

AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile and Cricket, C Spire Wireless, Carolina West Wireless (CWW), CellCom USA, Google Voice, U.S. Cellular.

T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Rates

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Alerts sent via SMS may not be delivered if the mobile phone is not in range of a transmission site, or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even within a coverage area, factors beyond the control of the wireless carrier may interfere with message delivery, including the customer’s equipment, terrain, proximity to buildings, foliage, and weather. The wireless carrier does not guarantee that alerts will be delivered and will not be liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
