Event Description:

This support group is open to all blood cancer survivors, their friends and family. The group is for adults only.  It's an opportunity to share experiences, exchange information and gain support. The group is facilitated by experienced healthcare professionals who volunteer their time.

The concept of a Family Support Group is based on the idea that open communication about the illness is critical to coping with all the feelings that arise. Sharing of ideas and feelings serves to strengthen the connection between patients and their loved ones, thereby enhancing the ability to cope with the disease and strengthening the family unit.

The group meets the second Wednesday of every month. Dinner provided.  Call for the location.
